We pride ourselves on transparency and clear communication. If at any point of the adoption process you are unclear, we will gladly answer questions. The process is as follows:
1 – Fill out the necessary paperwork including the adoption contract and paying a deposit. If you reserve online, no application is needed since it captures all of a client’s necessary information.
Note: If you are picking up your new pet locally, Maine Coon Maniacs requires that the remainder of the deposit be paid upon pickup. If you have scheduled a delivery, we require payment prior to arrival. Clients who request delivery are given all details prior to your payment.
2 – We confirm vaccinations of your Maine Coon cat and that it has received regular veterinarian check-ups.
3 – We confirm that your kitten has been registered with the proper authorities.
4 – Complete payment and pay any additional fees.
5 – Pick-up and/or delivery details are confirmed.
6 – You should continue to stay in contact with us with questions or concerns as your new fur baby makes the transition to a new home environment.
